This year I spent my birthday walking in a park all by myself, not alone, all by myself, just walking, having some coffee, is not that bad.,
Don't look back on that, look back on what makes you bring happy memories.

yes, I've spent my birthday with the stomach flu, my husband was working out of state, and my 1 year old was sick with an ear infection. There is always someone who will have it worse than yourself. Happy Birthday!

Hate to say it but yes, I've been there and it really was depressing. The next day it was just another day and I was back to normal.

Yes I have, but even worse, another time, I paid for a friend to come out to dinner with me. (and it was a cute guy I liked, but I think he was gay and didn't know it)
