It really depends on what you look for in sports games. As far as controls, both systems are almost identical. Graphically speaking, although the PS3 has more raw power, the 360 has a much more efficient GPU. This probably will spell out more defined graphics for the 360. However, because of the pure power of the PS3, it can probably handle more events on the screen at once. The PS3 is hard to program for, not just because it's new technology but because of the architecture of the design. I'm willing to bet that games will be very glitchy for a good while. It is yet to be seen how the PS3's SPEs will handle AI, but Microsoft's system is tried and proven. I expect that this generations consoles will be much like the last, Playstation has the better processor, Microsoft has the better build. In the end, the 360 will be less glitchy and more appealing.

Xbox 360, because developpers know more how to work and exploit the system.
ps3 is a steroid boosted system, strong but weak at the same time, for the little boost over the 360 in maybe 1 year, it doesnt worth the money for now.

Have you tried Madden '07 for the Wii?
it's amazing if you're a casual gamer that likes to have fun with the game rather then get very serious with the whole football aspect.
But the Playstation 3 is better with graphics.. and things of that sort. More lush and detailed environments in the sport realm.

PS3 owner and lover, sports games are AMAZING, on a HD TV of coarse, and have yet to meet a kink, and i dont think i've turned it off since i got it midnight a couple weeks ago. O ya, have a 350 or whatever that things called

The Xbox will have better sports games because the company is going to keep making new games.But I like Wiis better.

I dont know but i really would like to know. I like sports games more than other games and i was hoping someone would know which one is better for sports. prefrabbly NHL and MLB games

i have a x360...and had a ps2 i think ps3 will have better sports ......just because of the copany and gprahics
