Obviously the Yamato. It is better armed with longer range weapons. Its spotter seaplane would have found the Prince of Wales and directed its fire.

Yamato anytime, like everyone said ..bigger guns - longer range, better armour and most importantly, the Japs were better trained and had superb gunnery.

If it is a day battle, 50-50 but if it is a night battle, Japs will will as they are well trained in that field.
