I'll help you get started but you really need to look these up in a simple biology book or on the web.
The respiratory stystem provides the means by which the blood is oxygenated and by which it is able to rid itself of the carbon dioxide it has absorbed as a waste product from the tissues, to which it simultaneously gives up its oxygen.
