I believe everything happens for a reason. If someone rejects you, then there's someone better out there for you. Yeah, it hurts like a muthafvcka, but just like everything else, it'll fade. Unfortunately rejection is a part of life. If you don't take the chance and face the chance of rejection, you're only depriving yourself of an opportunity for growth and wisdom.

the only good that comes out of it is that it 'thickens your skin' so that it won't be so painful with subsequent rejections
