One TRILLION??? Do you know that one trillion is 1 followed by 12 zeroes? 1,000,000,000,000 It is one thousand billions or one million millions! So, if I had one trillion dollars, I would find the 3.5 million homeless people in America and build each of them a nice home for a few hundred thousand, then give them a million each to take care of the home for the rest of their lives. That would be a drop in the bucket for me. I would find the school districts with the worst school buildings and build them state-of the-art buildings. I would set up a scholarship fund that would send any child who wants to go to college the means to do it. That's just the beginning.

First I would buy a million lottery tickets, and pay a million people to look at them to see if they are winners. Then I would donate a few million dollars to charity. Next I would buy a house and a car. Then I would give a ton to everybody in my family. But after that I would buy myself everything I have ever wanted. Including a small sports shop. Then I would go back and buy some more lottery tickets. Then I would pay someone to ask me this same question again... yeah that would be great.

I would invest it carefully in ethical things, that alone would be a challenge

100 billion to the Gates fund, good enough for Buffet , good enough for me

I'd travel and buy up any woodlands I thought worth preserving, with old growth trees or whatever.

Would donate some to feed people, some more to set up a foundation to help world cultures understand and appreciate differences, especially ones that are killing each other. Maybe an exchange program of some sort.

I would set up really good free schools

for a start

then I would hire like 1000 massage therapists, nope, a home for lazy or old massage therapists, all of them well paid and on call to work on me and or go on vacations with me.

Buy a nice little 2 BR flat for me, and a 3 or 4 BR house for my son's family. Nice cars for us. Educational trust fund for grandchildren. Save some, and give lots of it to various animal rescue organizations and children's charities. Oh, and quit my job
and do a little traveling - I love cruises. I'd love to take a cruise to Alaska!

I would buy a small island in the carribean, build a huge luxury hotel and invite all my family and friends to bask in the sun and have fun froever... Of course, you would have weekly deliveries of essentials ( soap, toilet paper, beer )... Would go fishing every day, and of course, I would have to have a nice, well groomed victory garden out back to pluck from on occasion ( sun going up, sun going down )AHHHHH, beer, beach, skunky aromas fill the air, and it would NEVER end...
