Limited government is where the federal goverment only makes laws specifically designated to it by it's constitution. All other laws are the responsibility of the local governments. The U.S. is supposed to be a limited government but politicans have took over and used the government and its police power to extract taxes to fund programs to buy votes to get re-elected.
