whatever you do don't change who you are. That happened to me and ALL of my "old" friends realized what a frak i was being. When someone is cracking jokes and they're funny, just luagh, don't try to hold it in. Because if they are saying the joke loud enough, then it's ment to be laughed at!

talk to people. Do things you like. try and make friends here if you want and have the same interest. Make sure your conversations are interesting , and don't always talk about yourself. Ask them questions too! Don't forget to trade numbers and email. Always keep in touch and make sure you have the same things in common with them.

Many ways. Try to find and meet people with similar interests, by going to clubs and the like. Maybe even an art class.
Chit-chat with people online.. good support there.
Make yourself look interesting, like someone would want to strike up a good conversation with you. Be unique and original.

Hey you should sing,talk,or do any of your favorite activities and ask them if you can hang out with them.
*it sounds kinda cheesy but you can always try finding who has the same problem as you!
