Well i dont think so. I mean they live in water, breath water, and go to the bathroom in their water. So if i was a fish i wouldnt want to drink my water.

we feel thirsty when we need water in our bodies. if the water the fish is in is difficient in something, like lets say essential minerals that it would normally take in with the water, then it would be thirsty for that.

but no, I don't think I've ever seen a live parched fish:)

As long as you do 25% partial changes regularly, they should be fine. Fish need fresh, clean water.

I think they do. like us when we eat our bodies needs something to drink.
the fish drink water too when they eat, is one of the reason they need clean water.

the fishes drink water like we breath, but there's oxygen in water and they just take the oxygen.
H2O(ech-to-ow) is water and 'o' is oxygen and they just take the oxygen.

Freshwater fish absorb water, not drink it, so no.
