Until 2 years ago, this tournament was called the "Intercontinental Cup" , and it was just a duel between the European and S. American club champs. But FIFA saw a chance to make more money, and we now have yet another meaningless tournament, since the final always comes down to Europe v S. America - like this Sunday's Barca v Inter.
