The toolbar with the shortcuts is on the bottom and normal but the minimize toolbar that shows you all of the programs you have running is gone somehow....

nevmind you mean the clock area try right clicking on the tool bar and choose properties and play around in there

It sounds like you are missing the "Programs" part of your toolbar. It is possible that you have covered it up with another toolbar. That entire area is called the taskbar.

Right click on the taskbar and if there is a check box in front of Lock the Taskbar, click to remove it.

Right click on the taskbar and hover your mouse over the "taskbar >" option. When the menu opens, click the Quick Launch option to remove the check mark and to remove those little icons from covering the program part.

Another thing to try is to look for little dots or a srtaight line on the taskbar. You can click and drag this to increase or in your case decrease the amount of area your icons are using. Good luck.

Bring the cursor down to the bottom of the page until you see the vertical double arrows. Then click and hold down and pull it upwards. It's probably there, you have just hidden it.
