xbox 360, Does it come with wire for online?? or does it have to be wi fi???

also if it does or does not come with a wire can i use a wi fi usb dongle? to get online through my pc (xp)

The premium package can support both wireless and wired internet, so yes you can get online. To get wireless you will need a wireless router and a wireless network adapter(around $90). The adapter connect in the back of the xbox360. For wire internet you just need to run an ethernet cable to your router.

If you by the $300 system then no the wire does not come with it. If your purchase the $400 system then you will get the wire for online service, a headset to talk to others, a wireless controller, and 20gig harddrive. Trust me, you may as well buy the $400 one, it only a hundred more for like 500dollar value. Its well worth it. All you do is take the ethernet wire that comes with it, plug it into your 360 and plug the other end into your modem.
