i dnt sharpen it too sharp. and if i sharpen it any less it doesnt show up on my skin (it is brown and my sking is a lighter but similar shade, so maybe i should go with black, but i dnt want too look emo or goth) but anyway that has nothing to do with how my eyeliner breaks!! wat do i do???
if this helps, the brand is CG smoothers and i got it at giant (supermarket) also, can you buy sharpeners at most grocery stores, along w/ the eyeliner? thx!

What could be happening is that it was dropped and the colour broke inside the tube, so when you sharpen it, it just breaks off. You’ll just have to buy another liner and hope that one doesn’t get beaten up! (it’s the same thing that happens to colour pencils when you try to sharpen them and the lead just keeps breaking off)

Best to get a sharpener specifically made for eyeliners. Try buying more expensive brands like Dior etc, their eyeliner comes with a sharpener. Or better still, get those that doesn't need to be sharpened like maybelline auto eyeliner.

Black eyeliner wont make you look goth unless you put on too thick a coat or your skin is really light. Before sharpening your pencil, stick it in the freezer for an hour or so. it will keep it from breaking.

I would try buying the kind that you dont have to sharpen...Im not sure what they are called but you just twist the bottom and more comes out. I have some from Avon but I think they have it in all brands.

Sounds like th pencil inside is broken, and as you sharpen the wood away the liner falls off.
This could be because you have dropped your pencil a few times and broken the inside.
Don't get the automatic pencils - they're worse.
Store them in the fridge and be gentle.

your eyeliner color really depends on the color of your complexion, hair color ect...You need a new sharpener. The cheap ones ruin good eyeliner. You might try a liquid liner. It provides a more defined line and its easy to fix before it dries. I like almay. Good luck.
