adam A doesn't know what he is talking about.

Secondly, you should realize how unavailable the wii and PS3 are. you wont be able to get either for christmas without spending a boatload over retail. Xbox360 is the most available but wont have all of the games you listed. it costs 299 for the core version and 399 for the premium version. if you want to wait, which I suggest, wait for PS3 next spring. It will be available by then and have a much better title catalog. However, if you really want to play zelda, but are willing to spend the money on a PS3, id say get both the xboxx360 and a wii, together they equal one PS3. Buy an Xbox now, then get the wii right after christmas.

The Wii is good if you like interactive games. But if I had to pick between the Xbox 360 and the PS3, I would have to pick the Xbox 360. Why? Because all games for the Xbox 360 are in high-definition and the graphics are pretty much the same as the PS3. There's built-in support for wireless controllers and excellent online gaming, content downloads, and communications via Xbox Live. The console is not only backward compatible with many (but not all) original Xbox titles, but it also doubles as a superior digital media hub and Windows Media extender. The system's online Marketplace allows easy purchases of mini-games, movies, and TV shows. The Xbox 360 delivers the power and performance of a high-end gaming PC, including impressive digital media and networking features.

This is an example to show you that the Xbox 360 graphics are just as good, or even better than the PS3 graphics. http://www.gamespot.com/features/6162742/p-2.html

That depends on what types of games you like best. For now the PS3 is (1) too expense, (2) can't find it in stores and (3) does not have lot of games. If you like platform games then get the Wii, for other type of games, get the xbox 360. If you have some dough, get both. I prefer the xbox360 myself because it has a large library of games and the graphic is just amazing. The Wii is fun but most of the games was designed for a younger crowd---No Gear of Wars or Halo or Star trek......

Well, it depends on what you want in a game.
If you are a huge Zelda fan (like me), your gonna want to buy the wii. But, if you like MGS (like me a year ago) and if you like alot of multi media junk, then buy the PS3 (if you have enough). Or if you like gears of war (like me). Then buy the 360. Though all of these consoles does have there cons. The wii's graphics aren't there strong point, but Zelda is very detailed. The ps3 overheats and crashes, and the games that are out are crap except one which is Resistence: fall of man. And the 360 doesn't have all the cool stuff like the wii and ps3.

I'm leaning towards the wii or xbox 360. Buy both if you can.

Or buy a gaming pc.

They are very cheap and very customizible.

Go with Xbox 360. it's cheaper (depending how big of a hard drive you want) has great graphics, has lots of games to chaose from and the on line play is phenomenal (you got try Call of Duty 3 on Xbox live). The only thing is you have pay an addition $99 to get the wireless Internet adapter and if you want the HD DVD Drive, then it's another $199.
It's going to take some time for video game developers to really utilize the full capacity that the PS3 power, but then again, you're going to pay hefty for those high end games.

Either the 360 or the PS3. The PS3 is pretty expensive right now, so I would take the 360. You can play Gears of War on the 360. That game is tight

Graphics don't really matter. You should get the Wii. It's more interactive with players and more affordable. I don't understand why people want a huge console that costs $600-something dollars. If you get Zelda games for the Wii, it will be like you're actually sword fighting.

lemme break it down for ya:

1)wii:
cheap and affordable, backwards compatible, great motion sensitive remote controller, small and compact, better graphics than ps2 and xbox

2)ps3:
strongest video game console in the world (best hardware and graphics), eventually will get a great game library just like the ps2 last generation, motion sensitive controller (six axis thing)

3)xbox 360
practically a weaker version of ps3, great game library

overall, i suggest gettin a wii
