Because it's natural and not man-made. Nothing science has invented this far can match its glow and translucence.

Bee's wax is so beautiful because you can use it to help zippers, neddles,and other metal object glide smoother.

It's not. We just think it is because we as humans think things that have that kind of lustre are beautiful. It's all relative and subjective.
