What's funny is that people say things like, "it's just the Internet". I didn't know that the rules for grammar, spelling, and punctuation changed just because you are posting it online. If English isn't your first language, I can totally understand, but if it is, that's just pathetic. If someone can't spell words we learned in kindergarten, there must be a problem with his/her brain function. Period.

I am from China and I see more importance to spelling check. But it is also a challenge and a way of study in guessing the meaning. I hope it wont last long.
