The crafty people are making their own ornament hooks this year! Use a sturdy wire and some sparkly beads. Slid 2 or 3 beads on a 2" or 3" wire. Use needle nose pliers to bend the wire into curlicues so that the beads don't slide off. Bend the ends into hook shapes and you're done! Just be creative, there's lots of ways to bend them.

I changed all my hooks over to pretty thin holiday ribbon...kid-pet friendly, doesn't rust and fits well over any size branch. It took some time but it looks great and made for a holiday project.

You could also try pipe cleaners - since they're used in crafts they come in all shapes and colors so you could find some that match the color scheme of your tree and/or ornaments.

You could use thread and make a loop to hang on the tree or whatever.. it might work for you!

Paper clips work great - just unbend them so that they are in an "S" shape, and they work like a charm.
