why are you asking me that I never did anything to you.....do I act defensive......I dont think I am defensive.......just kidding.....people who are defensive all the time have low self esteem and THINK they are being picked on......I know cuz I can I am that way.

Well being defensive is a good thing provided you know what you are up against and know to talk in a logical way to shield yourself. But being too defensive with cause over exertion on the pressure of people around. Simply just follow the flow of the situation to guide you thru. It always works with me.

It's neutral. Being defensive can cut you off from the rest of the world. But if the rest of the world can do you harm, then it is just. I don't think people can be "always defensive". Maybe they're just going through that phase. You could be inciting anger in them, and they shut themselves off so they don't cause a scene. A wounded animal can act defensive. And you know what they say about wounded animals.

It's not good to always be defensive because then one would always apply negative implications to what people say to them. People who are always defensive lead guarded lives, and are defensive probably due to bad past experiences. They need to open up, face their fears, and know not everyone is out to get them.

I am very defensive when it comes to certain things. I just think there is a limit to what you should and shouldn't be defensive about. Just be yourself and don't let people get to you. Its the best thing for you.
