tell him that u love him but u dont think the relationship is going anywhere...either way it will hurt him and theres nothing u can do to take that away...break-ups arent only hard on the ones being broken up with...he has to remember that...i hope everything works out ok...good luck

make sure that you are safe where ever you tell him first. if he knows yall have issues it shouldn't be hard. tell him the truth in a sweet manner. find a place to start off right so he listens. be sure that you tell him you care about how the future would come out knowing that it wouldn't work and that you love him enough at this point to separate as associates are whatever your choice of word would be. telling the truth is best, and at this point in the relationship the direction you are taking is heading somewhere else and it would n't be right to stay at that point if your direction want allow you.

well i dont think you should send a message thats like well would you like to get a message saying its over i wouldnt well make sure its what you want to do first then if its really what you want then just sit down with him say you need to talk and then say something like this say i like you i really do but we have had some ups and downs and i dont like rollor costers in a realshionship and i think we need to see other people say something nice or what ever you think is best well i hope you the best with that good luck!

Babe, communicate with him and tell him how you feel. Whatever you do, respect him and his feelings. most importantly, tell him everything, what I mean is do not leave anything out about why you are breaking up with him, this is not fair, and the truth should be set in front of him. God Bless.
