Does Anyone know why Ghost Hunters has been taken off-air?

Well, I've looked online on their website and on their forums someone has posted that they're so called renewed right now...but they are not sure. The next seasons apparently is supposed to start sometime Feb. 2007...
Is there another reason why they've been takien off air?

I really don't know but the US sci fi chanel can be very screwy.Lots of shows are put off like that. Who knows why.

cause maybe its a stupid idea for a show, and it sucked...just goes to show that if i took a crap in a can and put it on a shelf for sale...some schmuck will but it...Thats people for ya...
