Because everyone has an opinion about how people should live their lives, they use things like religion, personal biases, racism, prejudices, and ignorance as ways to support those opinions. They use those same things to excuse themselves when they pass judgement on someone.

people are judgemental agains things that they do not know or understand, this is human nature. We do have the ability to fight against our own nature, and LEARN about the things that we dont understand, but in general most people dont. it is easer to sit back and judge, than to educate our selves.
- just be your self, and let society be ignorant.

Good question. Why is it in my country the USA and I am white. That Hispanics seem to think they can do as they please and when I am nice to them, they would just as soon look down there nose at me. Well, is it racism or should it be cultural-ism?..Because I don't think the problems lie in the color of our skin...I think it's a cultural issue....everyone thinks a person should be a certain way and when they are not people judge them.

I don't know. I think it's just because of how things are. Everyone has a problem with something someone else does. People ask me why i walk the way I do, but i can't do anything about it. I'm not about to change myself for someone else. I'm fine just the way I am.

I think in society today, a huge majority of people are insecure about themselves, so they talk down on people to make themselves feel above the people they are judging.

society is all about trend setters and followers..
many years ago, the key leaders and trend setters decided to proclaim that it it was wrong to be gay, bi, or tranny..
many followed, and still do follow. it's all about brainwashing..
society has also got us all convinced that men need to have big penises and women need to have big breasts.. but again, this is all perception and brain washing.
it's all about power, greed, money, and control.
it takes a really strong person to overlook society beliefs and form beliefs of their own.
i never felt the need to be part of a group. i judge things based on my own values and morals.. not based on what society leaders tell me to..

If you mean American society, I think it has to do with us being based on Judeo-Christian beliefs. The Bible is full of judgments--but also forgiveness.

They only way you can get rid of the disease is by diagnosing it first. We have to judge people in order to eradicate their harmful ideas.
