I think it will be an interesting matchup. Boise State clearly has not played the level of competition that Oklahoma has. BSU is a good team but is not one of the powerhouse teams like Florida, Michigan, or Ohio State. This could be a good opprotunity for them to make themselves known and maybe increase recruitment.

BSU has a good football team and it will continue to get better every year. Zabransky has really shown his skills this year. He throws remarkably well on the run is and deadly fast....I would not be surprised to see Ian Johnson win a Heisman trophy his senior year (for those of you rolling your eyes, you obviously didn't see the way he dragged 2 or 3 PAC-10 linebackers up the field time and time again) Many will say that BSU is over-rated and they don't deserve the rankings based on their schedule...I think their ranking though is accurate..mainly based on the Utah and Oregon State victories. The bottom line is that this year's Bronco's are a great team...If the game was at home, they would beat all but maybe the top 5 teams....hopefully they can win the Fiesta Bowl should they make it and finally quiet the nay-sayers.

I'm getting really tired of Boise State and their fans complaining about respect. Might they think it's possible that they get no respect because they play in the WAC and dont play a single ranked opponent. If Boise State wants to get some respect they should join a major conference and then if they still go undefeated they belong in the national championship.

Even if they beat Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl, one game, one win for that matter does not make you a legit contender or even worth talking about for 2007. In order to be at the top you gotta play outside your conference, and if that means playing away, so be it. Look at curren Power Houses and the teams they play outside their conference;
Ohio State @ Texas
Southern Cal @ Arkansas
UCLA @ Notre Dame
Cal @ Tennessee
Oklahoma @ Oregon
Fresno State had USC on their schedule. You can't be afraid to play the big boys. Boise State might win, but i doubt it.

They are a good team, but the high ranking is a the result of years of success in a weak conferance, Ok plays much better teams and should be beat Boise. but there is always a chance of an upset, it should be a pretty good game though. I say OK by 8

Boise State is the most under rated program in college. I am a frim believer that if you go undeafted in major division 1 college football you deserve a shot at the title regardless of the schedule. besides the college schedules are made three years in advance. if the broncs run the table give them a shot. they will beat ou because bsu is that good like they have been for almost a decade

Last season they played UGA in Athens and UGA beat the living piss out of them. I think that is really all that needs to be said about Boise State's football program. These klown teams like Hawaii, Boise State, Rutgers and Wake Forest need to stop their hopes of ligit competition.

Many well disagree with me but Boise State went undefeated but weren't even considered for the National title game. They are this years Auburn (Remember when Auburn went undefeated with Ronnie Brown and Carnel Williams yet they weren't considered)...and don't give me BS saying their in a weak confrence. We need a playoff system NOW!
BSU 48
OU 17

No, they won't beat Oklahoma.
Good team in a really bad conference. Don't go anywhere near 12-0 if they're in any of the BCS conferences.
