Wouldn't the twin towers have been the perfect opportunity for Bush to turn the other cheek? Thus saving a lot of death and grief since? He had a chance to be Christian about it, but instead he went all fundamentalist. Now we have perpetual "war". most unchristian. It would be interesting to see how many of the families of twin towers victims actually support the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Do they want revenge in this way?

I'm not religious at all - but I would turn the other cheek if circumstance demanded it of me. Turning your cheek or not isn't exclusive to religion!

In today's world, not for one second would I turn the other cheek, and that's because we live in a society that has lost it's respect for humanity, for culture, and above all for the love for God.

To be honest I don't know. I mean I would want too but if someone did or said something that really made me angry I am not sure if I would. I am a christain but I also know that I am human and I fall short. That's not an excuse it just the truth.
