I really, really, really, REALLY (understatement) want to see the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off...I just want to know is it worth my time? I want to see it (see above :), but what I want to know is, is it just a bad teen movie, or worse...some kind of chick-flick? Thanks!

It's a really good movie. It touches on so many aspects of school an growing up. Rent it. Trust me, it's worth it!

Bad teen movie? Chick flick? Absolutely not! Ferris Bueller's Day Off is one of the greatest, most memorable 80's teen movies of all time, right up there with The Breakfast Club. Watch it and understand why today's crappy teen movies pale severely in comparison.

I saw it when I was about 17 and I thought it was really, really funny and good and watched it a lot around then. I haven't seen it for about 3 years but it is definitely a classic as far as 'teen' movies go. You should see it! If only to finally understand the 'Bueller, Bueller, Bueller' joke that someone inevitably does at every roll call ever.

Along with Breakfast Club, Weird Science, 16 Candles and Fast Times at Rigemont High...It is easily one of the top 5 teen flicks of the 80's

It's kind of a teen movie, but it's an AWESOME teen movie, and it's not a chick flick. You should definitely see it it's fantastic. Even if you don't like it, surely it's worth a couple of hours of your life to see what all the fuss is about and finally end your curiosity?!

It's a must see. It was one of the best teen flicks in the 80s and you can see where a lot of movies since have gotten their inspiration. Lots of cameos from people who are famous now.

It is a classic movie with some hilarious lines! Definetely see it if you haven't already. The main character is a guy so it's clearly not a chick flick.

It is definitely worth the time. That movie defined a generation. Just like Sixteen Candles and Breakfast club, this movie kicks @ss.
