I got married at 16 and I hated it and I've been with this guy I call my husband from time to time for 10 years living together for 9 I guess I could marry him but I really see no point but if I were to give any advice on the age it would be atleast 30.

The maturity of each person may be different. I would say that you need to be old enough (and mature enough) to live on your own and not require your parents to help you deal with things.

You need to be old enough to understand that another person cannot make you happy or miserable - you are the only one who can do this for yourself.

You need to be old enough to know that marriage is a true commitment that is not something you play around at. When you say "I do" you are making a vow in front of the world to give all of your effort to keeping the marriage alive.
