in the formula cp=Q/m(change in T) what is the Q if all you are given is temperature.?

i know that Q is the energy transferred but what is Q is it joules, temperature, what?

Q is the quantity of heat; m is the mass of the substance; T is the temperature and C is the specific heat capacity.

If cp is specific heat, you should have the Q (energy) and the m (mass).
