Not like a fight fight....Maybe just a casual fun argument with a friend or something. Fortunately I am lucky enough that most of my family can at least tolerate soccer...I don't give them crap, they don't give me crap :)

Yeah it happens alot to me. Mostly when I joined a footy chat and some chauvinist male attack me just because I'm a female and in their small world of men, women only love players not the game. Well I'll always love to debate with them about footy games. I think it's a humiliation for them when women know more about the game that played by their associates, men!
Mostly I defending myself and showed them that I can have my own opinion about footy games not watching cutie players. Some other female real footy fans also experience the same, belittled though our passions to our clubs and footy just the same as male are.

it drives me crazy when they call it "gay" or "stupid"
yeah too bad its the most popular sport in the world.
i only defend boys soccer though
i hate when girls play, they kill the sport
that might be bad to say, but i'm a girl. i don't play soccer (i play volleyball), but i love watching soccer matches.
when guys play, i see the real beauty of the sport.

yes actually I'm from Argentina and half of my family is Brazilian so when ever family comes over there's always arguments since there is a great rivalry between Argentina and Brazil me and my cousins always watch soccer and end up fighting but at the end of the day we still support one anothers teams!

no that would be stupid, it's my fav sport, i love it, but it's a game, nothing more.
