Making up just 2% of the population in the USA, do you find these figures impressive?

In the Senate, I know there's Bernie Sanders (when the new Senate convenes), Arlen Specter, Chuck Schumer, Russ Feingold, Herb Kohl, Frank Lautenberg, Diane Feinstein, and Barbara Boxer. Quite a few.

More than their numbers, I find it interesting that they're all Democrats except Specter, who's generally regarded as ridiculously liberal for a Republican.

There are many Jewish Senators and Representatives in Congress but most of them do not expose their identities publicly but only among themselves.

Yes. Even more impressive is the % of American Nobel Prize winners who have been Jewish.

Who cares?

All of the people in Congress are humans and are looking to work in government. What does it matter what religion they practice?

Only the shallow, unintelligent ones care about that.
