Are you kidding me? T-Mac and Kobe are great players, but T-Mac has his back problems again, and his scoring is way down, although his assists are way up because Yao Ming is finally showing all of us why he was the #! draft pick, and Kobe? Yeah i know the lakers are off to a good start, but have you seen how many games they've played at home? ask this question again in another month or so, the lakers have many games on the road and you will see they're record not nearly as good as it is right now, as for whos the best player in the nba right now? It's between

Dirk Nowitzki
Carlos Boozer
Dwayne Wade
Lebron James
Steve Nash
Yao Ming

well this is an opinion and not a fact... so as most people will say Lebron or Steve Nash the answer is kobe.... I mean he has led his team of nobodies to a 15-7 record and 3rd best in the west.... Although he has not been getting as many points as usually he has been a much less selfish player and giving his other players more scores

The best two players in the league are LeBron James and Dwayne Wade. Kobe comes in third and then Steve Nash at 4th.

T-mac is defintly btter than kobe. Kobe is the worlds only street-ball p[layer in the NBA. He likes to show off and be a ball-hog. The onther night when t-mac first played he had 14ptns and 11 asst. i h8 the tarheels (no offense tar heels 4 life) but im KENTUCKY fan

Out of Kobe and Tracy, Kobe is the better scorer and defender while Tracy might be the better coachable player.

Kobe is much better overall.

there is no best nba player in the game. there could be best in the month or week. but not the "best". cause everyone has a off day or is still improving. like yoa ming who grew a 1 in. last year.
