It took Nixon, a staunch right-wing anti-communist to open up Detent with USSR and China. It took a Johnson, a Southern Democrat from a former Confederate State to pass the Civil Rights Laws (if you don't think most the 60's Southern Democrats were racist you don't know Southern History.)

Not this time. The liberal media hates the war as much as they hate Bush. If we get in a liberal president he or she will have to satisfy all the liberal voters who also seem to hate the war as much as they hate Bush. They have even made Bush synonymous with the war. To keep those jokers happy (the media and the liberals that is) the president would have pull out of the war, or they would still rant about how dumb it is just like they do now, and you guesses it, We Lose the War. The bottom line is that we have to unite as a nation against our enemies the terrorists and stop acting like whiny cry babies if this war is to be won. If we lose, we are dead.

The press doesn't want us to win. I doesn't make any difference who is president. The next president will fly the white flag and he or she wont be a Republican

Since the end of WWII the German government has maintained a
newspaper whose sole job is to bash the government.
This is an effort on there part to keep another Hitler from getting
control.
