You may have a stuck heater control valve. It's not open for some reason. Could be the connection or if it works by vacuum look for any leaks.Follow the heater hoses coming out of the firewall to find the valve. You may be able to work it by hand.

I have a few ideas. Worst cases would be a blown head gasket, or a heater core that needs to be replaced. These would be problems from a more high mileage car. A more simpler fix may be that your cooling system may have sludge in it and needs to be flushed. A slim possibility could be an electrical problem, but seeing that I have not worked on Saturns much, I can`t say about the electrical.By the way, if you have a sweet smell inside the car when you run it, and the windshield fogs up, then it probably is the heater core. Good luck.

either a plugged heater or someone took the thermostat out to make the car run cooler in the summer, or it could be stuck in the open position.
Thermostats are really inexpensive ...$5-10

The two most common reasons:
1) your engine thermostat needs replacing.
2) the heater core is having fluid flow issues, ie blockage, and needs flushing or replacing.

by using fact if it blew out chilly air it would not be suggested as a heater!! the respond on your question is in all probability that it relatively is broken and the change that controls the place the air is sucked in from is caught on sucking it in from over the engine, inflicting it to warmth up.. in any different case, in case you have is on whilst the ambient temperature is warm, except you have A/C, the coldest it may get to is the temperature of the outdoors air!
