Your PSP is already equipped with a scanning device that searches for wireless Internet connections for you. I know you can use a USB cable to connect your PSP to your computer to transfer files and stuff. But I'm pretty share you don't need anything extra to connect to the Internet, you just need a wireless connection (hotspot). Look at the links I've posted, this should help you out! (I've heard that the PSP is going to be compatible with the PS3! I here that you'll be able to download PS1 games to your PSP, now that would be cool!)

you need to buy a USB cord if you want to connect it to the computer. And if you have a wireless router than you can go on the internet.
