My personal favorite is Samsung. I had one for 2 years and never had a single problem with it until the internal circuits started to wear out from MEGA heavy usage...in excess of 9000 minutes per month. I had extremely bad luck with Motorola and will never advise someone to purchase one. I currently have an LG, and while it's okay, I still prefer Samsung.

I've had Cingular-which sucked and it wouldn't even work at my house and it dropped calls all the time. My mom still has Cingular and they say they've change but the haven't because every time she calls me on that *amn phone it drops the call. I've also had Sprint-about the same. I've had Verizon for 2 years now and it's been great-I've had absolutely no problems with them what so ever. Also, I misinterpeted your question (sorry) I like LG brand the best.

All depends on the buyer but I like the fancier phones personally such as motorola/sony and all that jazz. If your thinking more of a cheap good sturdy phone go for nokia :) They have some good technical stuff (not very stylish) but who says a cell phone is supposed to be jewlery.

Apple iPhone I loved the concept of the apps. it truly is a cool telephone. i love texting with the entire keyboard. i love the actual incontrovertible reality that it truly is an iPod too (maximum phones have mp3 gamers, even with the undeniable fact that the quantity of songs they could be able to carry are constrained). the in problem-free words shy away with the iPhone is that you'll't deliver image messages, except that i have been somewhat pleased with my telephone.
