Is there a way to set an alarm on my computer?

I need an alarm to go off at 0400 hours and 1600 hours, something I can turn off easily.

You can write 2 small batch files to cause the system speaker to beep. Then use the Task Scheduler to schedule for the times that you desire.

put a windows media player playlist in to scheduled tasks and set the schedule to the times needed have music as your alarm just like the clock radios....
