people say that the thelittle white lines that come out on your finger mean that someone likes you...is this true??

It is a myth and so is saying that the white lines are 'little white lies.'
Also: A fable is a metaphorical story with a moral to it, you are thinking of a myth.

Actually, I've heard they indicate mineral deficiency. Zinc specifically.
