The black/white divide is by far the greatest one, the biggest issue, and it's because of our heritage of slavery.

Because it's ingrained the national psyche. Race has, and always be a problem. Think about what happened to the Irish when they came over, racism. Racism, why? Because they were Irish. Doesnt make sense, but that is racism too.
Think about how the whites rationalized slavery. Blacks are sub-human. Even the country's government said blacks are worth 6/10 of a human being.
Indians who? Ever heard this one, "a buffalo dead is an Indian dead"
Chinese? They enacted special laws to target chinese. Plus they were lynched by their Manchurian ponytail. That's crazy. Nowadays it's not that intense, but the general feeling of superiority is still there. The other races have a little more power and are starting to use it to their advantage. Luckily, the white man has something that will keep them from getting lynched themselves, WHITE WOMAN!

it truly is purely that having those who were so unprivileged in u . s . of america's society 100 years in the past starting to be a president is an significant *idea*. it truly is purely this manner of massive replace. To imagine, a century in the past White women and African individuals couldn't vote and had little appreciate compared to the dominant White American guy. If a lady or black individual immediately grew to change right into a president, it purely *represents* how some distance society's more desirable and how we are theoretically socially equivalent. it truly is why human beings idea it replaced right into a win-win challenge lower back in 2008 at the same time as Hilary Clinton ran adversarial to Barack Obama for authorities. even with the undeniable fact that, even if the elected president somewhat fills his/her position in operating in the route of benefitting the human beings of u . s . of america is a unique tale.

It's not just race, it's religion, political ideas, and anything that more than one person can disagree on. The problem is not going to go away by making laws or filing lawsuits against one another. These things actually only exacerbate the problem. The only solution is to either turn everyone into robots so that no one has an opinion of their own or get rid of all the different ideas and people who believe in them.

Actually, it's much much worse in Europe. Go ask any Frenchman if an Algerian, who's family has lived in France for 6 generations, is a Frenchman or a foreigner....you'll always get the same answer.

At least in America, whatever you are, you're still an American.

The race problem is concocted by politicians and anyone who believes playing the race card to their advantage.

The great majority of the people of the U.S.A. are not racists but politicians and some black leaders use this to divide us for their own advantage. It is very sad that the people we depend on seek to divide us to their own advantage.

Initially, race was an issue. A lot of wrongs were committed. Now, many minorities use it to their advantage which perpetuates stereotypes (ie why should I hire him because if I have to fire him he will use race as an issue even though he is absolutely worthless as an employee).

Because a few ignorant white people still are racist, and a majority of minorities use it to their advantage whenever possible, aka the race card.
