OK!!!

-4x+2y+410=0
-6y+2x+640=0

Multiply that first equation by 3 on both sides:

-12x + 6y + 1230 = 0

Add it to the second equation to get:
-10x + 1870 = 0

So: x = 187

Then substitute into either of the first two equations and solve for y. You should get 169.

Done.

1st equation: -4x + 2y + 410 = 0
2nd equation: 2x -6y + 640 = 0

Multiply 2nd eq. by 2 to get:

4x - 12y +1280 = 0
-4x +2y + 410 = 0

Now add the 2 equations to get:

-10y + 1690 = 0
-10y = -1690
y = 169

Now plug the value of y into one of the 2 equations:

-4x + 2(169) + 410 = 0
-4x + 338 + 410 = 0
-4x + 748 = 0
-4x = -748
x = 187

-4x+2y+410=0
-6y+2x+640=0 multiply by 2
4x-12y+1280=0
-4x+2y+410=0 add
-10y+1690=0 add 10y to each side
10y=1690 divide by 10
y=169

-4x+2y+410=0
-4x+2*169+410=0
-4x+338+410=0 add 4x
4x=748 divide by 4
x=187
(187, 169)

check -6*169+2*187+640=0
-1014+374+640=0
0=0

i get x=187 and y=169
(well my calculator can do them)

ok, 3 min later here is my writen work:
find x useing the -4x eqn.
x=(2y +410)/4
sub into -6y eqn.
5y=845
y=169
now using that:
4x=2*169+410
x=187

unfortunately I got y=169...
try subsituting the value into the equation.
also i got x=205+y
substitute that in as well
