Christmas! Watching little faces light up when they see their presents under the tree, spending a day with all my family, a delicious turkey dinner, cheesy TV, tinsel and mistletoe, drinking Baileys and eating mince pies and cream - there's nothing like it!

Christmas Eve

Have a réveillon!! It’s a French thing and what we do is go to church (if that’s your thing) for a midnight mass and while we’re all there, someone stays behind and puts out the gifts and food and when everyone goes home there is a big party and everyone opens gifts. This is a big party and only works well if you have lots of people to join in and then everyone sleeps most of the day away and if you’re brave then you have another Christmas dinner at dinner time! So it’s Christmas even and Christmas day! the best of both worlds!
