My best friend and I want to make a HP fansite. We know there are tons of them but we won't to make our own and make it different. We would like to concentrate on Fanfics, romance, and the Marauders. Any ideas? What would YOU like to see on a fansite?

((All of this probably requires coding and such, and I don't know how to or if you could do it, they're just ideas off the top of my head.))
You could start it out with an entry page with the Mauraders Map saying "Do you solemly swear you are up to no good?" And let the viewers choose Yes and no. If they choose no, then you might add a "Messirs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs bid you good day, but believe you are a bit of a bore." Or something to that effect, just for a little fun.
Then, the main page. Add your basics: Updates and Tidbits on the movies and books, fun facts, polls, characters, About Hogwarts, etc. Lots of sparkles, magic, and cool artwork here.
Quizzes like, "What house would you be in?", "What is your spell?" "If you were a mythical creature, you would be..." keep people busy and interested.
If you want FanFics, then just add a section where users can post their own stories, or email them to you to post, whichever. Post your favorites, then let others comment, and such.
You could even put a discussion section, to talk about the books, whats good, whats bad, what you hope the next will be like, etc.
Im not sure exactly what you mean by 'romance', though.

You could try and concentrate on the Order of the Phoenix. I mean do some stuff around the members past and present. For instance we know nothing really about the original order. You could make up some stuff about Neville's parents, and stuff unknown about Tonks.
Just a thought.

Probably perdictions of the 7th book, and secret clues in the books. Possibly also quotes? I like to use Harry Potter quotes during the day and having a place to go find some would be nice!
