Well what does the crying seem to be about? Ex-boyfriend? No boyfriend? No girlfriend? The absurdities and contradictions of life in general? George Bush? (I sometimes want to cry about that last one when I think there's two more years of the Smirkmeister!)

It's probably depression. It's more than just being sad (I'm sure you've seen tons of ads about this already) but depression has an actual cause, a chemical/hormonal imbalance in your brain.
If this goes on for a long time, it might be good to go to a doctor and get it checked out. If it goes away within a few days and up to a week, it may be the result of changing hormone levels in your monthly cycle (assuming you're female, of course). Even if this has never happened to you before in relation to your cycle, these things don't have to happen every time to be caused by it. If that is the cause, then don't worry, it should go away soon.
If you've just been through something sad, or seen something sad wether on TV or in person, this may be just a normal part of the grieving process and be gone soon.
Try talking to someone you know & love, such as a family member, boyfriend/girlfriend, best friend, etc, someone who will understand and listen. This is often the BEST therapy.
Hope this helps! :)

It could be: PMS, hormone imbalance, clinical depression, stress, lack of sleep, too much sugar, someone is being abusive to you, you might be grieving, you could be lonely, malnutrition, lack of B complex vitamins, lack of minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, dehydration. If you feel like crying almost every day you should see a nutritionist or the doctor. You're not supposed to feel that way and it's probably something that can be remedied.

What makes you want to cry, if you don't know, you should speak with someone.
Suicide Hotline: 1-800-SUICIDE (1-800-784-2433)
LifeLine: 1-800-273-8255
Depression Hotline: 630-482-9696
If you know what makes you want to cry, your life is not what you want, or someone dumped you, or you want someone etc. then perhaps you are just a sensitive person. That's okay, the world needs people who care about things that most people don't think about.
Get a kitten, nothing will make you forget your worries like a small kitten nuzzled against your cheek purring.

i went through that, i wanted to cry even though i really didn't have a reason to, i wasn't hanging out with friends as much and i wasn't really doing or going anywhere. i just didn't feel like doing anything. i think it was just a faze of depression, it passed.

Maybe some things overwhelm you, and crying is a good way for you to cope.

if ur between ages 11-15, and have not gotten you period yet, that means ur going through a small depression stage. I got mine at age 12, but 3 months before i got depressed. i felt sad. go tell ur mom about this if ur young. if ur older, then talk to a therapist.

Um, maybe you're depressed? Did you have a super- traumatic experience recently? Sometimes that can cause it. Just go see a psychologist and see what they tell you.
