Are they harmful? What are they ? And how do I get rid of them i had them before and changed the soil but i guess they came back!! The christmas cactas came from my great grandmothers plant I had gotten some babies off of the mother plant.

Take tweezers and put it in the yard.

call your local College & ask for the science lab, some of
them will do a report on the bug for around $25-$35.00
that is if you can put the bug on tape & fold the tape over the bug so that they could look @ it under a magnafine
plus you will have to drop the bug off @ the science lab

Probably nematoads (not sure of spelling), they are in the soil. A sprinkle of diatamacious earth like they use in pool filters will kill them.

it sounds like they might be centipedes, millipedes, or earwigs.
