Yes and no. There can be no doubt that women are discriminated against, and often for no reason whatsoever. But I think there can also be no doubt that men are discriminated against, and likewise for little reason.
Take a couple of examples. I am a single parent. I have help, but I do most of the raising of my son by myself. My son's mom in still in the picture in a good way. And here's the first example: there are teacher in his school that pretty much refuse to recognize that I even exist. He had one last year who virtually would not talk to me - she never would make time for me, and if there was anything going on she would never communicate with me about it. This same teacher would not only write notes to my ex frequently about what was going on, but would actually take the trouble to call her personally on the phone if anything came up. My ex even kept telling her to contect me, to no effect. I WANTED to be involved, and this woman simply wouldn't permit me. This is not an isolated example... in terms of familial rights, women are allowed BY LAW much more than men just about everywhere in America (though I'll grant that in other countries women get the short end of the stick all around).
As a middle example, take maternity leave. Most companies I've worked at do not give maternity leave to men. They do give it to women. From the company's perpective, this means that their female employees are likely to have large break in their employment and will recieve more benefits than men. If companies look at it this way, I would not be too surprised if women never make as much as men, in terms of pay. Some businesses, of course, balance the scale a bit by allowing 'maternity leave' to either or both parents, so they have no excuse!
But there are many other jobs where some women can do just as well (if not a heck of a lot better) than most men, but they are not permitted to even try because of inertia and prejudice. Even these are breaking open, depending on their level of ossification and secrecy. And though I laud women who join the military, with all the horrible, horrible things I hear that happens that the military turns a blind eye to, I wouldn't encourage any to do so. That is frankly abominable and I am ashamed to be associated with such an institution in any way.
Is it a man's world? Sometimes. But not all of it.

At one time it was. I don't believe it is anymore. There is a place for women in todays society where there was none at one time....some countries still have that stone age attitude but that is not the majority. So my answer to your question is...no it is not a man's world but our (men and women) world.

this question is a variety of one premise for an difficulty that has been in debate in all cutting-side societies and cultures. The very difficulty has also been addressed with techniques from distinct non secular concept as to way a guy might want to habit himself interior the affairs of ladies persons. Even interior the western international that advocates accurate of ladies persons, women persons were allowed sign up their vote into political procedure only presently. Do women persons have absolute parity with adult males? might want to they be dealt with somewhat tremendously, if not precisely both? those and many themes are nonetheless warm interior the forums of human rights and incorrect. And even as all this is going on, the civilised international does not stop to make use of ladies persons as sex icons. it is predominantly guy’s international the position women persons are nonetheless considered frail and incompetent. they're very susceptible in a lot of societies of the international, the position abuse of their rights and position remains rife. In my personal opinion, women persons are literally not same as adult males, and hence they ought to not be dealt with a twin of adult males, yet with diverse regards and rules in view.

You betcha. Women have been making inroads, but we still lag behind in jobs, salary, etc. I think things are a lot better now, but things still need to be improved.
