I am going through this exact same thing. It is called a blighted ovum. They could have the dates wrong, so make sure they are keeping up with your hcg. you will still feel pregnant and you hcg will rise, but then suddenly they will drop, as mine did just this week. They will have to a d&c more than likely. This is the second time this has happened to me. I know exactly how you feel. If you want to talk more about it you can email me at baby_gurl69_1983@yahoo.com.

My friend's baby died in the womb when she was 6 months along. It made her horribly sick with severe migraines. She was bed ridden from pain.
However, because you are only 11 weeks along, I don't know if a fetus that size would cause illness. I also don't know why the body wouldn't have expelled it by now. Usually it will on its own, but they may schedule a D and C to get rid of everything.
There is one condition called false pregnancy. The body thinks it's pregnant, so the uterus grows and hardens and the preg. test comes up positive. But there isn't any baby. Usually around 12 weeks this condition reveals itself. (But, if you've heard a heartbeat in the past, this isn't your case.)
Having a backwards tipped uterus doesn't mean anything. My doctor described it as the same as "some people have brown eyes, some have blue."

I am so sorry anything is possible but when I was 35 weeks 6 days I had lost a baby as well and everything happened the way you described first the no heartbeat on doppler then no heartbeat on the ultrasound there are times when your body has trouble letting go of the pregnancy I do not see why they wouldn't give you a surgery though it doesn't make since that they would send you home I'd go to the hospital and get rechecked even if you have to lie and say your sick to your stomach.

If you are supposed to be almost 12 weeks along, then you should have for sure heard the heartbeat by now, I had an ultrasound done at 9 weeks and heard the heartbeat. I really hope this isn't what it sounds like and that your doc just miscalculated the dates. but if I were you I would go back to the doctor and ask for another sonogram and demand answers to your questions. I WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK AND I HOPE THAT YOU AND YOUR BABY ARE WELL!!!!

I didn't know I had m/c.. I found out through u/s and a missed heartbeat. That was at 18 weeks. If I were in your situation I would wait another week, take off work if you do work and stay home in case something happens. If there isn't a sign by 12 weeks or any sign of growth I would schedule a d&c. I hope that maybe your dates were off and everything is ok though.

Well I'm sorry to say that there always is a possiblity of misscarrage but all this stressing out isn't going to help.I think what you need to do is ask your doctor what's going on.They have pretty much all the answers you need.Don't be afraid of them.I have never experienced this but I hope all turns out well and you should really ask the Doc to put your mind at ease. Also I think if you misscarried,I think he would've said something because he has to warn you that you will be passing the baby.Good luck hun.
