The 1968-70 team takes some beating - Lee/Summerbee/Young at the front of it. United may have won the European Cup in 1968, but City won league...and for the next two or so years truly were the team the rest had to beat - but found it hard to. Of course it's easy to do that now, unfortunately.

I hate my job...wasn't 'The Goat' and 'Shaunie' the same person?

Probably the Team with Summerbee/Bell/Marsh/Lee/Brook although i wasn't alive when they were playing.

Best squad of recent times is a tough one, we had some good players but we have never had a balanced side, the side with Bernarbia, Berkovic, The Goat and Shaunie was absolutely a delight to watch them play

I agree with Asbo they were brilliant in the late sixties. Corrigan Booth Book Pardoe Lee Sumerbee Bell Young etc My Dad used to take me to watch them when Bolton were away or not playing. Colin Bell was sheer quality
