I want to be a broadcast journalist when I grow up and work for E! or CNN producing the shows. So I just want to know what sort of classes I should pay attention to in High School, so they can help me in the future, if/ when I chose a school

The first thing you need to do is learn how to spell and proofread.

As for high school courses, it doesn't really matter. Take the courses your desired college wants you to take. Once you get into college, a four-year degree with suffice.

I'm not sure about in the US. In Australia it takes three years at University. English is definately a must! Journalism, if there is a course, can give you some experience in broadcasting. If there is a specific area you want to broadcast in then go for a subject close to that. Anything arty really.

A four year degree in journalism and as many internships as you can get. It doesn't really matter what you do in high school, but try to get involved with the school news channel, clubs or internships related to broadcast journalism while you're in college.
