It's funny how many people can watch the same replay and see different things. If it was a REAL cheap shot, considering how much the NFL has been fining and penalizing players that hit QB's wrong, dont you think they would have done something? 95% of the football analysts (100% of the ones not bengal centric) said it was not intentional as did a few of the bengals own linemen. Palmer himself didnt start complaining untill (probably) after he read all the press written by people looking for any excuse (other than that the bengals were continuing their 39 year anti trophy campaign) for why the Bungles were out again. If the Steelers were so undeserving, then how did they go to Indy and Denver and win there? You going to complain that the refs had anything to do with those wins at all? Deal with it Cincy, players get injured. Look at the Steelers this year. Practically the entire first half of the year, they've been without at least a starter or 2, yet they made it back to 7-7. The team has heart and integrity. How many times in the past have the bengals been 2-6 and they just threw in the towell for the rest of the season? How many Cincy players have legal problems at this moment? Cincy has good players but, name for me, please, any team in the 40 years of Superbowls, that has had this much controversy and distracted (legally) players. Cincy needs (badly) to clean up its image and restore REAL team pride and maybe they will have the cohesiveness needed to get there. By the way, Bettis retired, yes, but, has anyone noticed that Parker has like 1,350 yards this year? At this pace he will pass any total Bettis ever had while on the Steelers.

Back to the question at hand. Considering the threat of Carson Palmer compared to Peyton Manning, if they were really intent on injuring opposing QB's, and considering they sacked Manning like 6 times in the divisional game, don't you think they would have hurt him?

Scream and complain all you want but nothing is going to change last year. Don't you think maybe the energy you're wasting doing that might be better spent campaigning the team to be better for the following season. Like maybe having season ticket holders write the team and asking them to get rid of players that cause mid season distractions so the team can concentrate on winning. There's plenty of players out there that can replace your legally-challenged ones and wont divert attention away from the next game.

By the way, good luck in the playoffs, assuming that the bengals make it this year.

The Cincinnati Bengals would have thumped the Steelers if they hadn't cheap shotted Carson Palmer. The Bengals are far superior as a football team.
