Later on you can get an amniocentesis but there are risk factors. You will get a sonogram around 16-22 weeks that will also be a way. The last idea that can be fun but not a guarantee is to look up old wives tales about predicting gender. Yes. Its called "amniocentesis". They stick a needle into your amniotic fluid and take a sample and do a test - it is NOT painless. Unless your doctor detects some kind of abnormality don't do it unless he tells you its a necessity. Otherwise, wait a few months and get an ultrasound. One way that might work is to ask the other mother's in your family if they had specific food cravings or symptoms when they had a boy or a girl - if your cravings or symptoms are similar, then maybe its a boy or a girl based on those symptoms or cravings... one sure fire way to find out... wait 8 more months!

You have to wait until about 17 weeks until the gender is visible. Prior to the you can have an amnio, although this is dangerous and is not recommended to find out the gender. This test is only preformed when there is something wrong or if you are over 35 and are at risk for specific disabilities and birth defects.

NO, to soon! you can only tell by topical ultisound in the middle or late second trimester. research online there may be some holistic ways of determining sex such as utiran placement and feeilngs in your body! good luck

Not yet, the babies sex organs are not fully formed to about the 14th week and you really can not see it till the 18th week. So you will have to wait a couple months! Congrats
