Hi guys. I have a question for you all. If a person has done an unpaid intership at a college level?

do they still get a w2?? because I would think if you were unpaid you won't get a w2 or paystub!! please let me know if it's true

You're right. You would not get a paystub or W2.

No W2 for an unpaid internship - sounds like someone's trying a scam there.

A W2 is only given to employees who were paid money. If you were an intern, then you should not be sent a W2 because you were not paid a salary.
