My brother dropped his in a toilet once( there wasn't anything else in there at the time) he dried his out with a hair dryer (he took the battery out first) and although some of the screen didn't work any more the phone worked fine for two or three years after that. Good luck.

The pants are probably okay.

As far as the cellphone goes, take it apart as much as you can immediately. Take the battery out now and wipe it dry!
Blow the water off the rest of the cellphone innards.
Let it dry a few days, and hope for the best.

I dropped mine in water once. It was OK after it dried out but wasn't under that long. Take out the battery and use a blow dryer on low heat.
