I read the directions on my bcp.. it can take up to 6 months after stopping before you can get pregnant.. I think it might also depend on how long you've been taking them?

I have heard that it can take up to a year for some after the BCP

Depending on how long you've been on BCPs, it could take up to 6 months for your body to reply on its self, and not the reserved hormones from the pills.

be patient it will happen when you are ready It took me 8 or 9 months to get pregnant with my daughter and I am very fertile I have had 5 children my doctor told me if I didn't get pregnant within a year then to come back for testing so don't worry and sometimes after stopping birth control it can take a little longer

Oh my God.

Normal healthy, well cycling women, and their equally as healthy partners can take up to a year to get pregnant.

Its perfectly normal.

Coming off the pill it can take time for you cycles to regulate and for your body to start ovulating again.

Relax and give it some time.

You aren't married. Try that first and see if things don't happen in proper order then.
